Evans Wadongo began their work experience in 2006 as a Systems Analyst Intern at Kenyatta National Hospital. Evans then interned as an Engineering Intern at Metsec Ltd in 2007. In the same year, they founded Sustainable Development For All-Kenya and served as the Founder & Volunteer Program Director until 2009. Evans also became the Chairperson of Sustainable Development For All-Kenya in 2009. In 2008, they worked as a Customer Support Engineer intern at UUNET Kenya Ltd now MTN Business Kenya. From 2009, Wadongo served as a Part Time Technical Consultant at EDS Kenya Ltd. In 2005, they co-founded Brevlam Technologies Ltd and served as the Co-Founder & CTO until 2013. In 2016, they co-founded GreenWize Energy Ltd and became a Partner at Wadson Ventures Ltd.
Evans Wadongo pursued their education with a focus on development management and engineering. Evans began with their high school education at Kakamega High School from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
After completing their secondary education, Wadongo attended Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology from 2004 to 2009. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering.
Their educational journey continued as they enrolled at The Open University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Development Management from 2015 to 2018.
Throughout their education, Wadongo showcased an interest in both engineering and development management, paving the way for their future career in these fields.
