Samir Samal has extensive experience in internal auditing and risk management, currently serving as an Internal Auditor at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited since April 2019. Previously, Samir held the position of Regional Manager Internal Audit at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank from December 2017 to March 2019, overseeing a team of internal auditors across the Hazaribag and Ranchi regions. Prior experience includes working as an Internal Auditor at Janalakshmi Financial Services, where involvement in various audit verticals and multi-state initiatives took place, and as a Risk Executive with BASIX, focusing on operations in Madhya Pradesh. Samir holds a Master's degree in Finance with Marketing from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, completed between 2011 and 2013.
