Chavie Kahn

Chavie Kahn currently serves as the Director of School Strategy and Policy and Director of Day School Initiatives, Planned Giving & Endowments at UJA-Federation of New York since December 2014, leading initiatives that have generated over $84 million in endowment dollars for day schools in the New York area. Prior to this role, Chavie Kahn was the First Vice President at Manhattan Day School, focusing on security, board governance, and communications from August 2012 to November 2014. Earlier in the career, Chavie Kahn was an Associate General Counsel at Prudential Securities, specializing in NYSE arbitrations and investigations, and held the position of Litigation Associate at Fried Frank, where involvement included commercial and securities litigation. Chavie Kahn holds a B.A. in English literature with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and a JD, cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, along with completion of the Mandel Executive Leadership Program from 2019 to 2022.
