James Karp is an experienced producer currently working with UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies as a Producer for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) since March 2023. Prior to this role, James had a distinguished career at NBC News from June 2008 to April 2023, where responsibilities included producing early evening packages for approximately 200 affiliates, covering significant events such as the 2012 and 2016 Presidential Elections, and producing sports content. Previous roles include freelance positions at ESPN Regional TV and NASCAR Media Group, as well as photojournalism at WSOC TV and 13WHAM TV. James holds a B.S. in Television/Radio/Film from Syracuse University and an A.A.S. in Communications/Media Arts from Monroe Community College.
