Tom Dolbear is the Senior Director of Hardware at Uhnder. Tom has over 26 years of experience in the field, having worked at AMD for 26 years and 6 months prior to their current position. Tom has held various positions at AMD, including Senior Director of Product Development, AMD Fellow, Department Manager, Senior Member of Technical Staff, and Member of Technical Staff. In their current position, they are responsible for the development of Uhnder's hardware products. Tom has also been instrumental in the development of the company's Navi 10 and Navi 21 graphics cards. Prior to joining Uhnder, Tom was the Director of global organization of 110+ engineers responsible for thermal, mechanical, and package engineering of all AMD products. In this role, they were responsible for the technology and product development of AMD products, as well as the ramp to volume production at internal and external factories. Tom also led the development of a multi-year strategy to drive a higher mix of AMD APU/CPU products into BGA form factors, which resulted in a $300M operational expense saving over 5 years.

Tom Dolbear has a Master of Science (M.S.) from Stanford University in Mechanical Engineering from 1987-1988 and a degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Mechanical Engineering from 1983-1987.
