Ephraim Basalirwa has extensive experience in library and information science, currently serving as an Assistant Registration Officer at Uganda Registration Services Bureau since July 2019, while also working as a part-time lecturer at MTAC since April 2014. Basalirwa previously held roles at Uganda Registration Services Bureau as a Records Officer from September 2015 to June 2019, and at Uganda Management Institute as a Library Assistant from April 2012 to October 2015. Earlier positions include Assistant Librarian at Law Development Centre (January 2008 - 2011), Librarian at Naalya S.S.S (February 2006 - June 2008), and Librarian at Uganda Charitable and Benevolent Teamwork (February 2004 - June 2006). Ephraim Basalirwa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Makerere University (2009 - 2012) and a Diploma in Library and Information Science from Kyambogo University (2001 - 2003).
