Cosmas Lematia is an experienced exploration geologist currently working at Uganda National Oil Company Limited (UNOC) since May 2023. Prior roles include serving as a mud logger at Excellence Logging from January to April 2023, a field geologist at the Petroleum Authority of Uganda from July 2022 to February 2023, and an exploration geologist at Armour Energy between May 2019 and January 2020, where responsibilities included onshore 2D seismic data acquisition. Cosmas gained initial industry experience as a graduate trainee at Makerere University in May 2019, focusing on various geological assessments. Educationally, Cosmas holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Makerere University (2018-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geoscience and Production from the same institution (2013-2017).
