Jackie Tahakanizibwa MCIPR ACIM currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board for the Uganda Alcohol Industry Association (UAIA) since March 2024 and has been the Corporate Relations & Regulatory Affairs Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited since January 2021. In the role at Uganda Breweries, responsibilities include managing key stakeholders and overseeing regulatory and policy issues essential for business growth in Uganda. As Programs Director for the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) since December 2020, Jackie has demonstrated a passion for public relations, managing multiple projects and establishing impactful partnerships. Previous experience includes Senior Manager of Marketing, Communications & Customer Experience at PostBank Uganda Ltd, Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager at Monitor Publications Limited, and Manager of Special Projects & Executive Assistant to the Managing Director at Stanbic Bank Uganda. Jackie holds an ACIM degree from The Chartered Institute of Marketing and has pursued further education at the Uganda Management Institute and Makerere University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Executive Assistant/Executive Secretary.
