Filippo Veglio currently serves as the Head of Social & Environmental Sustainability at UEFA, overseeing the implementation of UEFA's Football Sustainability Strategy 2030 and leading initiatives on human rights and environmental respect across the European football ecosystem. Veglio also holds the position of President at the Swiss Platform for Sustainable Cocoa, a multi-stakeholder initiative aimed at enhancing sustainability within the cocoa value chain. Prior to these roles, Veglio was the Managing Director at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, managing diverse teams and engaging with senior representatives from various industries on sustainable development initiatives. Additionally, Veglio's background includes a tenure as a professional tennis player and multiple educational qualifications in international relations and sustainability.
