Clarissa Ferris Fernandez, RD, RDN, currently serves as the Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Morrison Healthcare since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas Medical Branch, where responsibilities involved data management and participant recruitment for research studies, as well as positions at Women and Infants Hospital as Food and Nutrition Lead and Intern, focusing on patient meal management and satisfaction. Clarissa previously worked at Miriam Hospital as a Sodexo Food and Nutrition Associate, and gained foundational experience in food service as a Barista at Starbucks and a Line Cook at Walt Disney World. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services and two Bachelor’s degrees from Johnson & Wales University.
