Doug Omachel is an experienced professional in operational excellence and quality assurance with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Manager of Operational Excellence at UCC Environmental since January 2005, Doug has been instrumental in implementing lean methodologies to enhance safety, efficiency, capacity, and quality across the organization. Previous roles at UCC Environmental include Manager of Global Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Engineering and Supervisor of Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Engineering, where Doug focused on mentoring teams, process improvement, and maintaining quality management systems. Prior experience encompasses a role as a Contracted Manufacturing Engineer at Navistar Inc., supporting engine assembly initiatives, and as an Associate Sales & Applications Engineer at DT Industries, Inc., contributing to automation equipment solutions. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Bradley University.
