Nasheli Hau-Gutierrez currently serves as an Academic and Internships Advisor and Masters Program Administrator at the University of California, Santa Cruz since September 2024. Previously, Nasheli held multiple roles at 10,000 Degrees, including Program Manager for the 4-Year Success and Alumni initiative, Interim Assistant Director of Community College Success, and Fellow for San Francisco College Access from November 2020 to June 2024. Prior experience includes positions at the University of California, Santa Cruz as Tutor Program Coordinator and Modified Supplemental Instruction/Tutor Coordinator, and a legislative internship with Representative Barbara Lee. Nasheli began involvement in educational support early on at the University of California, Santa Cruz, serving as a Writing Tutor, Undergraduate Peer Mentor, and Writing Assistant, along with summer advisory roles at 10,000 Degrees. Educational qualifications include dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Legal Studies and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz, completed in June 2017.
