Kristine Kilanski, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Equity Research & Analytics and Principal Research Analyst at UC San Diego since January 2020. Prior to this role, Kristine Kilanski worked as a Research & Planning Analyst at the San Diego Community College District from October 2017 to January 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University from September 2015 to August 2017. Earlier experience includes positions as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2009 to August 2015, Research Associate at the Academy for Educational Development from July 2008 to July 2009, and Research Assistant at The Urban Institute from July 2007 to July 2008. Kristine Kilanski holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s Degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology & Anthropology from Washington and Lee University.
