Amir Gamliel has extensive experience in research and academia, currently serving as an Assistant Research Scientist, Assistant Project Scientist, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Diego since October 2003. Prior to this, Amir held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weizmann Institute from July 2002 to October 2003 and completed a PhD at Tel Aviv University from 1998 to 2002. Amir's education includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UC San Diego School of Medicine (2003-2008), a postdoc in Molecular Genetics at the Weizmann Institute of Science (2002-2003), and multiple degrees in Neurobiochemistry and Life Sciences from Tel Aviv University, ranging from a B.Sc. (1991-1994) to an M.Sc. (1994-1996).
