Kurtis Carsch is an accomplished researcher currently serving as an Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in decarbonization materials. Prior to this role, Kurtis completed a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry at Harvard University and has a strong foundation in catalysis with a joint BS/MS from the California Institute of Technology. Research experiences include collaborative studies on the oxygen evolution complex at Caltech, surface imaging of solid acid fuel cells at SAFCell, and computational modeling of methane-to-methanol conversion at the University of North Texas. Additionally, Kurtis has pursued studies in sustainable catalysis at the Technical University of Denmark.
