Arun Balasubramaniam is a research analyst at Ubuntoo since March 2023, with prior experience as a product manager at Veolia Water Technologies and as a junior engineer at BLUE-tec, where responsibilities included operating and studying various pilot-scale plants involving reverse osmosis and other advanced filtration technologies. Arun completed a master's thesis at Wageningen University & Research, analyzing the removal of organic micro pollutants from wastewater treatment plant effluents. Additional roles include activities coordinator at the International Student Organization Wageningen, conducting an undergraduate research thesis in collaboration with IIT Madras, and internship positions focused on effluent treatment and environmental safety at Tube Investment Diamond Chain India and Symrise AG. Arun holds a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences and Technology from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
