Alain Jiongo is the current director at UBTS International. Prior to this, they held the position of sales manager at ASK in Paris, France from April 2004 to June 2005. There, they were in charge of marketing contact-less cards and RFID technology across Western Europe. Alain successfully refocused the strategy from multiple prospects to key accounts and signed two key contracts that brought in 9 million dollars in revenue and an achievement of 183%.

In July 2005, they left ASK to join Schlumberger as the HR Director for Sub-Sahara Africa. In this role, they were responsible for managing the talent and workforce of thousands of employees across 37 countries. This included creating and implementing people strategies, HR policies and standards, ethics and compliance procedures, and ensuring employees' well-being, motivation, engagement and productivity. Alain also oversaw recruitment, university relations, training and development of local talent, as well as competitive compensation for the workforce. In addition, they led global stewardship and sustainability initiatives, as well as engagement with communities and key stakeholders in the region to ensure a lasting impact. As a strategic adviser to executive and corporate leadership, they provided advice on people-, organizational- and operational matters.

After 17 years with Schlumberger, Alain Jiongo accepted the position of director at UBTS International in June 2022.

Alain has an MBA in General Management from IMD and an MSc in Automation & Information Engineering from INPT - ENSEEIHT (France). Alain also has an MSc in Electromechanical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Yaounde (MSc).
