Herolinda Murati-Leka serves as the Director of the Budget and Finance Department at the Municipality of Gjilan since March 2024. Additionally, Murati-Leka holds a position as a Professor at the University for Business and Technology since October 2022 and has been the Executive Director of the Organization for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem (OEIE) since May 2021. As a co-founder of the Center for Research on Public Health since February 2017, Murati-Leka has also contributed as a Financial Business Consultant at Nas Systems from May 2018 to May 2019. Previous roles include a Teaching Assistant at multiple institutes of higher education. Murati-Leka earned a PhD in Economics from South East European University and holds a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Local Economic Development, along with a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Prishtina.
