Yifan Hu is an experienced financial professional with a career spanning over two decades in economic research and wealth management. Currently serving as the APAC Regional CIO and Head Macro at UBS Wealth Management since 2015, Yifan Hu previously held positions as Head of Research and Chief Economist at Haitong International and Chief Economist at CITIC Securities International. Earlier roles include Head of Asia Economics at Natixis and VP Strategy at Merrill Lynch. Additionally, Yifan Hu served as an Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong. Academically, Yifan Hu holds a PhD in Economics from Georgetown University and has completed studies at Zhejiang University.
