Soumia Vellanki is currently a Workplace Wealth Solutions Intern at UBS and has held various leadership roles within Vanderbilt Women in Business, including President, Executive Vice President, and Community Engagement Chairwoman. As the founder of the MakHERs Market, Soumia has successfully spotlighted over 80 women-owned businesses and generated more than $44,000 in vendor revenue through philanthropic events in Atlanta and Nashville. Soumia's experience includes internships at Bain & Company, Radiant Health Partners, Nia Impact Capital, Women's Economic Ventures, and GoodrCo., focusing on areas such as impact investing, women’s health, financial empowerment, and sustainability. Soumia holds a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development and Environmental Sociology with a minor in Business from Vanderbilt University.
