Vladimirs Zinovjevs has over 24 years of work experience in the software industry. Vladimirs started their career in 1997 as a Software Developer at Ellat and then worked as an Advanced Programmer at Exigen Latvia from 2000 to 2007. In 2006, they joined Accenture as a Senior Systems Analyst and worked there until 2015. During this period, they also had a brief role as a Software Consultant at Enea in 2006. From 2009 to 2010 and again in 2011, they worked as a Software Consultant at Nokia Siemens Networks. Vladimirs then became a Software Consultant at Nokia Networks in 2013 and worked there until 2014. In 2015, they joined MRV Communications as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2017. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Ubiquiti Networks since 2017.

Vladimirs Zinovjevs completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications at Riga Aviation University from 1995 to 1999. Vladimirs then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications from Transport and Telecommunication Institute from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they also received certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in October 2009.
