Viktors Dauksts has worked as a DevOps Engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. since March 2020. Prior to that, they were a System Engineer at Evolution Gaming from July 2017 to February 2020. From February 2016 to July 2017, they worked as a Computer System Engineer at Lattelecom. Viktors also held roles as a Management system expert from November 2013 to January 2016, and as a VOD encoding specialist from May 2012 to November 2013 at Lattelecom.

Viktors Dauksts obtained their Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from the years 2009 to 2014. Viktors also holds additional certifications such as the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in December 2017, and the SUSE Certified Linux Administrator certificate from Novell, obtained in September 2014.
