Thommen Korah is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence and computer vision. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Uber AI since August 2015, Thommen has previously held positions as a Scientist at Microsoft and a Senior Researcher at Nokia Research Center, where contributions included developing an automatic 3D modeling pipeline for the CityScene app and transforming LIDAR data into interactive environments. Thommen's earlier role at HRL Laboratories involved significant work on DARPA contracts focused on 3D vision and machine learning for urban object detection.
