Kaan Kara is an experienced security engineer currently working as a Security Engineer II at Uber since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kaan served as a Mission Critical Security Engineer at Schuberg Philis from January to July 2023, and as an Application Security Specialist at DAZN Group between May 2021 and December 2022, where significant contributions included assessing architecture and codebase for a widely used platform and managing deployments in AWS and Azure. Kaan's early experience includes software development roles at companies such as Hipo, TuÅŸla, BSH Turkey, and Getir, focusing on backend development and application deployment. Kaan holds dual Master's degrees in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Systems Security from the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University.
