Deepak VP is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in mobile application development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Uber since April 2016, Deepak leads the Uber Earner Experience. Prior roles at Uber include Engineering Manager positions focused on the Earner App Platform. Before Uber, Deepak was at LinkedIn from April 2013 to April 2016, where notable contributions included leading the Feed experience for mobile platforms and serving as a tech lead for the flagship app. Deepak's career began at Oracle America from June 2007 to April 2013 as a Principal Developer, where responsibilities included the design and development of mobile applications integrating information discovery features. Deepak holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Madras.
