Amar Shibli is an experienced product leader currently serving as the Head of Product for Shared Rides, Autonomous Mobility Experience, and Rider Growth at Uber since January 2019. Shibli has held several key positions at Uber, including Head of Product for Rider Growth and Autonomous Vehicle Rider Experience, Group Product Manager for Uber for Business, and Head of Product for Global Intelligence & Marketplace Investments. Additionally, Shibli is a Mentor for First Round Fast Track and serves on the board of BP Networks. Prior experience includes senior roles at LendingClub, where Shibli was Senior Director of New Ventures and GM of LCAM, as well as an Engagement Manager and Associate at McKinsey & Company. Shibli began a career in finance at Merrill Lynch and held an internship with the United Nations. Academic credentials include an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University.
