Amalakanti Syam Kumar currently serves as a Safety Investigation Team Lead I at Uber, where responsibilities include supporting operations specialists in addressing real-time safety issues on rides through effective communication and audience analysis. Prior to this role, Amalakanti worked at Gravita India Limited from July 2017 to April 2022, advancing from a Graduate Engineer Trainee to a Senior Engineer, where contributions included commissioning an aluminium recycling plant and conducting quality control activities. Previous experience includes an industrial training position at JSW, which provided insights into steel plant operations. Amalakanti holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar and possesses foundational education in Science from St Joseph's Secondary School in Visakhapatnam.
