Mark Suster is a director at SonicEnergy and a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Mark has held leadership positions at several companies, including Accenture, salesforce.com, and Koral, which they founded in 2006.
Suster began their career in 1989 as a corporate finance analyst at First Interstate Bank. Mark later joined Accenture as a strategy consultant, where they worked on projects for major technology companies such as Microsoft and Oracle. In 1999, they co-founded BuildOnline, an online project management software company that was acquired by the Sword Group in 2006.
In 2007, Suster joined salesforce.com as vice president after the successful launch of Koral at DEMOFall 2006. Mark oversaw the transition of the Koral engineering team to salesforce.com and helped launch the product in the market. Mark left salesforce.com in August 2007 to pursue other opportunities.
Suster is currently a director at SonicEnergy, a company that is developing new technologies to increase the efficiency of solar energy production. Mark continues to be involved in the technology industry and is an active investor in startups.
Mark Suster completed their MBA at the University of Chicago and their BA at UC San Diego, where they double majored in economics and political science.
