Heath Wheat currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Operations for the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2015. In addition, Heath has been a PAC Fundraiser for Rick W. Allen for Congress since December 2016 and previously held the role of Finance Director from June 2013 to January 2015, where responsibilities included executing strategic finance plans and organizing fundraising events. Heath's earlier experience includes serving as Field Director for the same campaign, coordinating grassroots and fundraising activities, and working as an Associate Agent/Office Manager at Nationwide Insurance. Additional roles include a legal clerk at Jones & Lynn, LLC, and a teller at Regions Financial Corporation. Heath earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Public Policy from the University of South Carolina Aiken, graduating in 2010.
