Phoebe Beierle is a seasoned sustainability professional with over a decade of experience in promoting green practices within educational institutions. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Programs at the U.S. Green Building Council since November 2016, Phoebe previously held roles including Green Schools Sustainability Manager and Green Schools Fellowship Manager. Prior experience includes acting as Sustainability Manager for Boston Public Schools, where an emphasis was placed on developing sustainability programs that improved health and reduced environmental footprints across the district. Phoebe's earlier career involved significant contributions at organizations such as the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and The Green Roundtable, where strategic leadership was provided to enhance green building standards in Massachusetts. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Psychology from Oberlin College and a certificate in Sustainable Development from UMass Dartmouth.
