Valerie Madas is a social scientist at the U.S. EPA Office of Inspector General since July 2022. Previously, Valerie served as a health equity intern at the City of St. Louis Department of Health and as a masters research fellow at Washington University in St. Louis, where involvement centered on the Prevention Research Center. Valerie's experience also includes serving as a public health specialist with the Peace Corps from May 2017 to July 2019, and working as a registered nurse across various healthcare settings from March 2013 to April 2017. Valerie holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science from the University of Washington.
