Neal Santacruz, LCSW, has extensive experience in clinical social work, currently serving as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Va Health Care Systems since June 2014 and as a Clinical Supervisor at Northside Child Development Center since March 2011. At Northside Center, responsibility includes providing therapy to children, families, and individuals while overseeing therapists' clinical practices. Previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at NYU, conducting interviews for a study on acculturation and adolescent alcohol consumption, and completing a social work externship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where dialectical behavioral skills training and mindfulness groups were facilitated. Neal Santacruz also interned at Roberto Clemente Family Guidance Center, providing bilingual therapy and conducting initial clinical evaluations. Education includes a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Queens College, along with additional training at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
