Ming Tam is an accomplished research assistant currently working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since January 2024, focusing on social science. Prior experience includes serving as a co-investigator at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center on a clinical research study involving alternative pain management strategies and the role of music therapy. Ming also held positions as a research assistant intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research, and as a nanny. Additional roles include social media and event coordinator for the Brandeis Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Team, writer for BaselineMed, and event coordinator for CHAARG. Ming holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Brandeis University and has a background in music from the New England Conservatory.
