Andrea Schneider is a Digital Service Expert at the United States Digital Service since January 2018, contributing to the organization's mission. Previously, Andrea served as the Director of Product Management at the Internal Revenue Service from 2004 to December 2017, leading a team to develop taxpayer-facing applications. Prior roles include Senior Consultant at IBM, where responsibilities involved IT consulting for process improvement and business modeling, and Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants. Andrea’s career began as a Management Analyst at the U.S. Department of Education from 1992 to 1996. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics, graduating cum laude from the University of Maryland.
