Amelia Knight, BSHS, LPN, is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since May 2021, providing primary care to veterans. Previously, Amelia worked in a similar role at the Department of the Air Force supporting active duty service members at Barksdale Air Force Base. With a solid foundation in nursing, Amelia has held various positions at Sentara Healthcare, including Licensed Practical Nurse, Ed Tech I, and Patient Transporter. In addition to nursing, Amelia has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Knight and Day Organizing, LLC, and has worked as an Auction Assistant with MaxSold and on Ebay. Amelia holds a BS in Health Science with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Old Dominion University and an LPN diploma from Sentara College of Health Sciences.
