Back At U.s. Treasury, Excited For A New Challenge at U.S. Department of the Treasury

Kay Turner is an experienced finance and policy professional with a robust background in digital identity, payment systems, and macroeconomic analysis. Currently serving at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since June 2024, Turner previously held various roles within the Department, including Chief Digital Identity Advisor and Senior Policy Advisor, where a significant contribution was made to the implementation of the $600 billion Main Street Lending Program and the development of digital payment infrastructures. Turner's expertise spans international banking and financial market risks, having also represented the U.S. at the OECD. An MBA in Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University and a Master's in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies complement an extensive career that includes senior roles at Citi and Wachovia.
