Bennett Abston, Jr., MBA, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency management, security, and information systems. Currently serving as an AO/Budget Analyst at HUD OIG since August 2018 and an Emergency Management Specialist at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development since March 2016, Bennett has developed a strong expertise in managing emergency operations and security protocols. Previous roles include Security Specialist at the Missile Defense Agency, where duties encompassed industrial, information, and physical security services, as well as incident management and analysis. With a military background in the United States Air Force, Bennett efficiently oversaw security programs and IT management while maintaining compliance with national security standards. Education includes an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University.
