Samantha Schaffstall Dopp serves as the Branch Chief for Outreach and Technical Assistance in the Local and Regional Foods Division at USDA since July 2013, where responsibilities include data compilation and analysis through cooperative research agreements and other projects. Previous roles include Marketing and Business Development Manager at Glaser Weil Fink Jacobs Howard Avchen & Shapiro LLP, where marketing materials were developed, and Client and Practice Development Assistant at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, where legal research supported business development. Earlier experience includes an internship at Hilb Rogal & Hobbs focused on developing an insurance program and an internship at the American Insurance Association, centered on database development for tort reform information. Academically, Samantha Schaffstall Dopp holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics and Environmental Planning from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with minors in Global Studies and Environmental Studies from Randolph College.
