Kirk F. currently serves as the Chief of the Food Distribution Programs Branch at the USDA, where leadership is provided to a team managing regulatory oversight and technical support for state agencies across the Southeast Region. Kirk has held multiple senior roles within the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, including Chief of the School Nutrition Programs Branch and Lead Program Specialist, where responsibilities involved coordinating disaster responses and overseeing program evaluations. Active in community service, Kirk is a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 233 and has contributed as Vice President of the Kanooka Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Florida, complemented by experience as a Human Services Analyst at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Commodities Manager at the Eli Witt Company.
