Laura Szadvari is an experienced professional in recruitment and operations, currently serving as Deputy Director and Acting Deputy Director of the National Recruitment Division at U.S. Customs and Border Protection since May 2020. Prior to this role, Laura worked at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency as Recruitment Manager from May 2014 to May 2020, and at the Naval Surface Warfare Center as Recruiting Program Manager from October 2009 to May 2014. Laura holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education, English from Marymount University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English from the University of Pennsylvania.
