Alexander Eastman is a distinguished medical professional currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at U.S. Customs and Border Protection since June 2023. In addition to this role, Alexander has been with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since September 2018, where responsibilities include serving as Senior Medical Officer—Operations. Since August 2004, Alexander has held the position of Lieutenant and Lead Medical Officer at the Dallas Police Department. Additionally, Alexander contributes to academia as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern. Alexander earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from 1997 to 2001.
