Dennis Phan has extensive work experience in various financial and accounting roles. Dennis is currently working as the Controller at VinZero U.S. CAD since May 2023. In this role, they oversee the production of financial reports, conducts audits and reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and provides financial analysis as needed.

Prior to this, Dennis worked at Ware Malcomb from 2015 to 2022, where they served as the Controller. Dennis provided crucial information for decision-making, facilitated annual financial reviews with a CPA firm, and refined firm valuation and calculation models. Dennis also worked as the Assistant Controller from 2018 to 2019, assuming Controller responsibilities and overseeing various accounting teams. Before becoming the Assistant Controller, Dennis held the position of Senior Staff Accountant from 2015 to 2018, performing month-end close activities and preparing financial statements for internal and external use.

Dennis began their career at Bolar Hirsch & Jennings, LLP in 2012, where they worked as a Senior Associate until 2015. In this role, they reviewed tax returns, trained new associates, and collaborated with managers and clients to prepare tax documents. Prior to this, they served as a Tax Associate at the same company from 2012 to 2014, preparing income tax returns and making appropriate accounting adjustments.

Dennis' earliest work experience was at Vengroff Williams, Inc. from 2007 to 2012, where they worked as a Deduction Management Specialist. In this role, they collaborated with team members and clients to resolve accounts receivable issues, communicated with customers regarding disputes and researched deliveries with shipping companies and suppliers.

Dennis Phan holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting, which they obtained from California State University, Fullerton, from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General at UC Irvine, spanning from 2003 to 2006.
