Sabahat Iqbal is a seasoned professional in policy development and digital inclusion initiatives, currently serving as a Digital Inclusion Advisor at USAID since October 2023. Previously, Sabahat held the position of Policy Lead at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, where project objectives aligned with strategic goals were developed, and relationships with stakeholders were managed. Earlier roles include Senior Policy Analyst, Researcher at the International Finance Corporation and Karandaaz Pakistan, and various positions at Acumen Fund and CGAP focused on digital finance and inclusion. Sabahat possesses a robust academic background, having earned a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia, supplemented by a certification in Data Science from General Assembly.
