Marc Friend currently serves as the Acting Deputy Director of the Office of Congressional Relations at the Peace Corps, having previously held the role of Senior Congressional Relations Specialist. Prior experience includes working as a Legislative Outreach and Policy Analyst at the U.S. Department of State, where efforts focused on public diplomacy issues and legislative proposals. Marc held various positions at USAID, including Director of U.S. Government Relations and Congressional Affairs Specialist for the Asia Bureau, where responsibilities involved detailed analysis of appropriations bills, management of congressional engagements, and training for USAID Missions. Additional roles included research and advocacy positions with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, American Jewish World Service, and the Religious Action Center for Reform Judaism. Marc holds a BA in Middle East Studies from The George Washington University.
