Amol Acharya is a seasoned Governance and Accountability Specialist at USAID, a position held since February 2023. Previously, Amol Acharya served at The Asia Foundation in various roles, including Program Manager, Senior Program Officer, and Program Officer from February 2019 to February 2023. Prior experience includes coordinating projects at the Namsaling Community Development Center from January 2014 to December 2018, and a research internship at Martin Chautari in 2011. Educational qualifications encompass two master's degrees in Governance, Development, and Public Policy from the Institute of Development Studies and Development Studies from Uppsala University, alongside numerous online courses focusing on political economy, local governance, and public financial management from esteemed institutions. Amol Acharya also holds a BA in Media Studies from Kathmandu University.
