Wille Rydman currently serves as the Minister of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment in Finland, a position held since July 2023. Rydman is also a Member of Parliament since April 2015 and a City Council Member in Helsinki since January 2013, where roles include First Vice Chair of the City Council, Member of the City Board, Chairman of the Audit Committee, and Vice Chairman of The Education Committee. Previous roles include membership on various boards, such as the Supervisory Board of Finnvera Oyj, the Control Committee of the Nordic Investment Bank, and the Board of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. Rydman holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Helsinki, obtained between 2006 and 2008.
