Zia Williams is a seasoned professional in engineering and modeling, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Modeling Engineering at Two Sigma since March 2010. Previous roles at Two Sigma include Engineering Manager of Modeling Tools and Manager of Network Engineering. At ITG, Zia held the position of VP of Network Engineering, overseeing a team and the network infrastructure for a global electronic financial brokerage firm. Earlier experience includes systems engineering at Thomson Financial, where contributions involved implementing and supporting various technologies. Zia holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering focused on Telecom Networks from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Zia earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Queens College.
