Carter Lyons, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Business Officer and Co-Head of Two Sigma Advisers at Two Sigma since September 2011, overseeing all business activities within Investment Management and Client Solutions. Prior to this role, Carter led the Global Investor Relations Team at Two Sigma, managing relationships with a diverse range of institutional investors, high net worth individuals, and private banking platforms. Previously, Carter was a Managing Director at BlackRock from July 1998 to September 2011, where involvement included membership in key executive committees and leadership of the Americas Institutional Business. Carter began the career as an Analyst/Senior Analyst at Franklin Templeton Investments, focusing on financial reporting and fund accounting. Academic credentials include a BS in Finance from Lehigh University College of Business and designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
