Andrei Morozov is a seasoned expert in risk research with extensive experience in equity risk modeling, currently serving as the Head of Risk Research at Two Sigma since August 2019. Prior to this role, Andrei held the position of Executive Director of Research at MSCI Barra from October 2005 to August 2019. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Video Codec Architect for XVD corp., Digital Stream USA, and Alaris Inc. from December 2001 to October 2005, as well as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics in Halle from January 2000 to November 2001. Andrei Morozov earned a PhD in Physics from Saint Petersburg State University between 1988 and 1997.
