Kelsey Lents has a diverse range of work experience. Kelsey co-founded Two Birds in 2017 and is involved in various roles within the company. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Architecture Plus Information from September 2014 to June 2016. Kelsey also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University and Parsons School of Design from January 2013 to May 2016. Kelsey was a Project Manager and Designer at Hollwich Kushner LLC from December 2012 to September 2014. Kelsey had a temporary role at Experiments in Motion, where they worked as a Project Manager and Designer for an interactive installation project from May 2012 to October 2012. Kelsey gained experience as an Architectural Design Summer Intern at NASA in 2011 and at David Chipperfield Architects in 2010. Kelsey also worked as a Designer and Project Manager at tonychi and associates from July 2007 to June 2009. In 2005, Kelsey received a Fulbright Fellowship.
Kelsey Lents began their education at Yale University in 2001, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature in 2005. Following a gap in their education, they pursued further studies in architecture at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation from 2009 to 2012, earning their Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree. Afterward, they decided to complement their architectural background with business knowledge and enrolled at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in 2016. Kelsey completed their studies there in 2018, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
